Welcome to Frazier Media

After seven months of being in business as Frazier Media, we finally have a website! It’s taken awhile, but the time spent has been worth it. We now have a place to sell our services, spotlight our clients, and publish articles that hopefully will help organizations make informed decisions when deciding how to come at both building and using their websites.
How to Build a Site
One of the big decisions we had to make concerning the site was how to put together our content so that we could easily make changes. We actually built a few content management systems in the process (and gave them to our clients for free) that tested some of our theories about how best to edit content on a website. Most of these systems are in deployment still and are used daily by our clients.
It wasn’t until we started working on another project for our sister company, Clarus Networks, that we began working on a daily basis with WordPress, an open source content management system (CMS) originally intended for weblogs (or blogs). In our work with WordPress we discovered a versatile system that would allow us to build anything we wanted very quickly – about as fast as building a site without a CMS.
We decided to build the Frazier Media site on the WordPress system and we couldn’t be happier. The fact that the system is free is another plus. We’re excited to get involved in the development community for WordPress and help to make it an even better package for our clients and for users all over the world.
What’s to Come
In the coming weeks you can expect to see articles, specifically geared toward growing organizations, that help make sense of what’s going on in terms of web technology and how these technologies can be used to build up an organization’s image, connect with people, and even make contributions easier and safer.
